GT Student wins scholarship from host university

Andrew McDowell, a third-year EE major, who will soon depart for his Spring 2009 semester of study at the University of Sheffield, in England, was awarded a competitive scholarship from his host university. Congratulations, Andrew!

Here's what he has to say about the competition:
"The application for the scholarship from the University of Sheffield was pretty simple with just a short essay. The scholarship provides 500 pounds to support my educational expenses. I am very grateful for the scholarship because it will help to offset the costs of traveling internationally."

Please visit the Program Costs section of the website for more details on this scholarship.
